The Kiss

This photo was taken outside our apartment in the rain. My wife was a great sport too!

What I did to achieve it was to set my camera to shoot the ambient light WAY under exposed then hid a remote flash in the ribs of the umbrella which luckly had a silver lining. It shot the light down on us illuminating both us and the drips and rain around us. I think it turned out perfect!

New Equipment!

I got a new backdrop delivered today! I had it set up earlier and it's exactly what I needed! I will however need to keep my eyes open for a deal on a 10'X12' white muslin backdrop.

There are BIG developments going on here lately and they've been keeping extremely busy. Two steps forward one step back hasn't got anything on me! I'll update as things progress. but I'll leave you with this.

Expect me to become a big name in photography in the near future. I mean business!

Concept photography!

Wedding Season is gearing up! going to be hard to find time but I have a project that I plan to work on this summer. A sort of conceptual photo. Very technical. I'll post some updates as my planning comes along.

I figure there's always something wedding photographers can learn and draw from in their shoots. so I will push myself to create something surreal and who knows I may find some of the techniques I employ will come in handy at your next wedding.

I had an amazing photo session recently with a perfect model. I couldn't have asked for a more cooperative partner. Behold a quick reference of the photos!

It seems I am getting more baby and children photo sessions booked lately which is great!

I have begun doing a few promotions and have unified my design across all my platforms (Facebook, website blog and soon to come...Youtube channel).

I Don't do much modeling but when I do...

I shot this in Punta Cana during the week I was there for a wedding. It turned out fantastic. My model Melissa Warkus deserves a huge thank you for all of the dirt and salt water she had to endure.

The sun was actually on the other side of the island which led me to get creative with my lighting rig.

I had an assistant hold my flash on a stand just behind Mel to simulate the sun. then a fast bit of photo shop to streak the yellow sunset across the horizon. I think it worked out beautifully.

Shows you really can accomplish a lot with a little ingenuity.

Hey folks, I know it's been a while since my last update. I'm planning to change all that.

First off I have been pretty busy with photography both here in Sudbury and abroad! I shot my first destination wedding in beautiful Punta Cana! See the above image. and it turned out just swell.  keeping the site www.adampicture.com in good shape. I'm also hoping to climb the Google ranks and get on the first page.

One other thing is my plan to get a YouTube account together and post some promotional videos. I'm actually a little excited about this part. So get ready cause there is a lot on the way.
